Where to find ingredients
Look for the ingredients in the baking aisle, fresh produce section, and dairy aisle of supermarkets or neighbourhood grocers in Singapore. If needed, use a ripe cavendish banana as a substitute for bananas-nanicas.
Preparation method
- In the blender jug, place the eggs, boiling water, oil and one banana sliced into rounds.
- Blend well until you get a smooth mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
- Add the flour and sugar to the bowl and mix with a spoon or whisk until combined.

- Slice the three remaining bananas lengthwise and arrange them over the batter in the tin.
