Where to find ingredients
Look for the ingredients in the baking aisle, produce section, and spice section of local supermarkets, or at neighborhood grocery shops and open-air markets. If needed, use baking powder as the substitute for the original leavening agent.
Preparation method
- In the blender cup, add the eggs, boiling water, oil and one banana cut into slices
- Blend well until smooth
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl
- Add the all-purpose flour and sugar to the bowl and mix with a spoon or whisk until combined
- Add the baking powder and gently mix
- Grease a round pan with butter and dust it with all-purpose flour
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan
- Cut the three remaining bananas lengthwise into slices and arrange them over the batter in the pan
- Sprinkle the top of the cake with sugar and cinnamon to taste
