Eggs, margarine, sugar, wheat flour and baking powder can be found in supermarkets and general food shops. Passionfruit juice or fresh passionfruit can be found in supermarkets, produce markets and fruit stalls. If concentrated passionfruit juice is unavailable, use fresh strained passionfruit pulp as a substitute, keeping passionfruit juice as ideal.
Preparation method
- Start by preheating the oven
- Grease a cake tin of your choice
- Place the eggs, margarine, sugar, passionfruit juice, water and wheat flour in the blender
- Blend well until you get a smooth mixture
- Add the baking powder last and mix gently
- Pour the batter into the greased tin
- Bake in the oven for 40 minutes
