Method

  1. Remove the kernels from the corn ears by grating or cutting close to the cob
  2. Blend the corn kernels with water in a blender
  3. Add the grated coconut, sugar, and salt to the mixture
  4. Mix everything very well
  5. Prepare small portions of the batter using the corn husks
  6. Fold and tie the husks firmly so the filling does not leak
  7. Heat a large pot with water until it is intensely boiling
  8. Submerge the pamonhas one by one in the boiling water
  9. Maintain constant boiling to ensure the batter cooks properly without falling apart
  10. Cook for approximately 40 minutes
  11. Remove the pamonhas from the water using a slotted spoon
  12. Place them in a cool place to cool before serving
  13. Serve with coffee and grated cheese, if desired
