Ingredients
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar peanut butter
1 packet (200 g) cornstarch biscuits
1 tablespoon margarine
1 jar peanut butter
1 packet (200 g) cornstarch biscuits
1 tablespoon margarine
Where to find ingredients
Look for sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter, cornstarch biscuits and margarine in the baking aisle or spreads section of supermarkets, or at neighbourhood grocers. If needed, smooth peanut butter can be used as a substitute for peanut cream.
Preparation method
- Crush the cornstarch biscuits in a blender until you get a fine crumb
- In a mixer, add the condensed milk and margarine. Beat until smooth
- Add the peanut cream gradually to the mixer mixture and keep beating
- Remove the dough from the mixer and transfer it to a bowl
- Add the biscuit crumb little by little to the dough. Mix and knead with your hands until everything is well combined and the dough is mouldable
- Transfer the dough to an ovenproof dish or Pyrex dish
- Chill in the refrigerator and leave overnight, or for at least 8 hours, so it firms up well
- Cut the paçoquinha into small squares before serving
