Ingredients
1 packet pineapple-flavoured jelly
2 packets strawberry-flavoured jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 can light cream (drained)
2 packets strawberry-flavoured jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 can light cream (drained)
Where to find ingredients
Look for the ingredients in the baking aisle, chilled dairy section, and soft drinks shelf at supermarkets or neighbourhood provision stores. If needed, use a sugar-free or low-fat cream substitute only as a fallback for the light cream, but keep the original ingredient as the ideal choice.
Preparation method
- Prepare the pineapple jelly by dissolving it in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
- Prepare the two packets of strawberry jelly by dissolving them together in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
- Put the light cream, the already dissolved pineapple jelly, and the chilled Coca-Cola into a blender
- Blend everything well until smooth and combined
- Pour the mixture into a mould, previously rinsed with cold water to make unmoulding easier, or into individual glasses
- Refrigerate for about 3 hours, or until firmly set
- Carefully unmould if needed, and decorate to taste before serving
Observations
This Coca-Cola mousse is an incredibly easy dessert with a surprisingly good flavour, perfect for anyone who wants convenience without giving up taste. It brings together the fizz of Coca-Cola and the sweetness of the jellies, creating a light, airy texture that pleases a crowd. It is a popular choice for finishing a meal or serving at parties and casual get-togethers, since it can be made ahead of time and yields individual portions or a sharing dish.
