1 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon butter

Preparation method
- Mix the water, sugar, butter and cloves in a frying pan
- Peel the plantains
- Add the plantains to the frying pan
- Cover the frying pan
- Cook over low heat
- Remove the lid as soon as the plantains are tender
- Increase the heat
- Let the plantains brown until they look caramelized on all sides
- Move the frying pan constantly to make sure they do not stick to the bottom
Observations
