Parmesan Baked Rice

Ingredients

2 cups rice
4 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3 peeled tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 eggs
3 tablespoons grated cheese
100 g chopped ham
100 g chopped mozzarella

Preparation method

  1. Dissolve one of the chicken bouillon cubes in a little hot water
  2. Place the peeled tomatoes, tomato paste, and dissolved bouillon in the blender
  3. Blend everything until a homogeneous sauce is obtained
  4. Cook the rice in a pot with the 4 cups of water and the other bouillon cube for 15 minutes
  5. Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl
  6. Mix the grated cheese, chopped ham, and mozzarella into the bowl with the eggs
  7. Incorporate this mixture into the hot cooked rice
  8. Spread a portion of the tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking dish
  9. Spread the rice mixture over the sauce
  10. Cover the surface of the dish with the remaining sauce
  11. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes until golden and bubbly
