2 tablespoons olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 bay leaf
1 cup lentils
3 cups water
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Preparation method

  1. Chop the onion and garlic into small pieces
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat

  6. Sauté for about a minute to release the aroma of the spices
  7. Add the lentils

  17. Serve the lentils hot
