Preparation method
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites
- In a cold saucepan, add the milk and the sieved egg yolks
- Add the cocoa powder drink mix and the condensed milk
- Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring continuously until you get a thick cream
- Remove the saucepan from the heat
- Fold in the ground nuts and the cream
- Add the dissolved unflavoured gelatin
- Gently fold in the whipped egg whites until you get a homogenous mixture
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish
- Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours, until it reaches a mousse consistency
- Monitor to prevent the contents from freezing completely
