Ingredients
1 litre water
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 kg special pizza wheat flour
20 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
15 g dry biological yeast
2 tablespoons powdered milk
2 kg special pizza wheat flour
20 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
15 g dry biological yeast
Where to find ingredients
Find the ingredients in the flour aisle, baking section, and dairy case of supermarkets, wholesalers, and neighbourhood shops. If needed, use active dry yeast as a substitute for dry biological yeast.
Preparation method
- In a large bowl, combine the water, sugar, salt, olive oil and powdered milk
- In a separate container, dissolve the biological yeast in a little warm water (make sure the water is not hot, so as not to kill the yeast)
- Let it rest for a few minutes
- Add the yeast mixture to the bowl with the other ingredients
- Gradually add the wheat flour to the bowl, mixing well with your hands or a spoon
- Keep adding flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands and is smooth and even
- Knead the dough in the bowl or on a lightly floured surface for about 5 to 10 minutes, until you get a smooth, elastic texture
- Place the dough in a plastic bag, seal it well and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size
- After resting, remove the dough from the bag and divide it into portions to shape the pizzas you want (enough for 7 pizzas)
- Shape each portion into balls and let them rest for another 20 minutes, covered with a cloth
- Roll each dough ball out into a disc and top as desired
- Bake in a preheated oven at the desired temperature until golden
