Method
- Remove the kernels from the cobs by grating or cutting close to the cob
- Blend the kernels in a blender with water
- Add the grated coconut, sugar, and salt to the mixture
- Mix everything very well
- Prepare small portions of the dough using the corn husks
- Fold and tie the husks firmly so the contents do not leak
- Heat a large pot with water until it is at a rolling boil
- Submerge the pamonhas one by one in the boiling water
- Maintain constant boiling to ensure the dough cooks properly without falling apart
- Let it cook for approximately 40 minutes
- Remove the units from the water using a slotted spoon
- Place them in a cool place to cool before serving
- Serve with coffee and grated cheese to taste
