2 cups sugar
1 cup finely grated coconut
1 pinch salt
Where to find ingredients

- Blend the kernels in a blender with the water
- Add the grated coconut, sugar, and salt to the mixture
- Mix everything very well
- Prepare small portions of the mixture using the corn husks
- Fold and tie the husks firmly so the filling does not leak
- Heat a large pot with water until it is at a rolling boil
- Immerse the pamonhas one by one in the boiling water
- Maintain a constant boil to ensure the mixture cooks properly without falling apart
- Let cook for approximately 40 minutes
- Remove the units from the water using a slotted spoon
- Place them in a cool place to cool before serving
- Serve with coffee and grated cheese to taste
Notes
This recipe uses the corn kernels entirely, utilizing the husks to shape and cook the mixture, ensuring the characteristic texture and aroma of this delicacy.
