Where to find ingredients

Preparation method
- Process the nuts in a blender until they become a fine crumble.
- In a saucepan, mix the crushed nuts with the heavy cream and a pinch of salt.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
- Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, beat the sieved egg yolks with the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Gently fold the nut and cream mixture into the yolk cream, stirring from bottom to top to maintain lightness.
- In a shallow dish, prepare a mixture of a little milk and a few spoonfuls of the nut cream to moisten the biscuits.
- At the bottom of a glass dish or tray, arrange a layer of the milk-moistened biscuits.
- Cover with a layer of the nut cream.
- Repeat the biscuit and cream layers until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a cream layer.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
