Where to find ingredients

Preparation method
- Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave and let it cool slightly
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and walnuts in a bowl and set aside
- Beat the butter with the vanilla essence until it forms a smooth cream
- Add the sugar to the butter cream and continue beating
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
- Mix the melted chocolate into the batter
- Gently add the reserved dry ingredients
- Pour the batter into a tin that has been greased and dusted with flour
- Bake in a medium oven until cooked
- Cut the brownie into squares while it is still warm
- Wait until it is completely cool before serving
Observations
This recipe gives traditional brownies with a good balance between the sweetness of the sugar and the depth of the chocolate. The key is to beat the butter well with the first ingredients so the texture stays soft.
