Preparation method
- Place the bulgur wheat in a bowl
- Cover with water and let it soak for 2 hours
- Rinse the bulgur wheat under running water
- Drain thoroughly
- Squeeze the bulgur wheat with your hands to remove all excess moisture
- Rinse the diced onion under cold water and drain
- Combine the bulgur wheat, onion, and other ingredients, reserving the tomatoes
- Set aside the diced tomatoes for the final step
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours
- Stir in the diced tomatoes just before serving
