Preparation method
- Peel the onion and chop it into very small pieces.
- Pour the water into a kettle and heat over low heat until it boils.
- Warm a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add the olive oil and the diced onion.
- Season with a pinch of salt.
- Sauté for about 2 minutes until the onion is softened.
- Add the bay leaf and the rice to the pan.
