Easy Walnut Mousse

Ingredients

8 eggs
1 liter of milk
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
400 grams of chocolate drink powder
300 grams of ground walnuts
3 packages of 200 grams of table cream
1 package of unflavored gelatin, dissolved according to package instructions

Preparation

  1. Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites
  2. Place the milk and the strained egg yolks into a cold saucepan
  3. Add the chocolate drink powder and the sweetened condensed milk
  4. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes
  5. Stir continuously until a thick cream forms
  6. Remove the pan from the heat
  7. Fold in the ground walnuts and the table cream
  8. Add the dissolved unflavored gelatin
  9. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites until the mixture is uniform
  10. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish
  11. Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours until it reaches a mousse-like consistency
  12. Monitor carefully to prevent it from freezing completely
  13. Decorate the top with whole walnuts before serving
  14. Keep the dessert in the refrigerator after serving for the first time
