Where to find ingredients
You can find these ingredients at local markets or well-stocked supermarkets in Tanzania, such as Shoprite or high-end grocery stores. For authentic Brazilian flavors, seek out international spice sections. Azeite de dendê and pimenta de cheiro are unique to this dish; if unavailable, use high-quality red palm oil as a substitute for the former, and any mild, fragrant chili pepper for the latter.
