Preparation method
- Keep half of the onion whole
- Secure the bay leaf to the onion using the clove as a support
- Heat the pressure cooker over medium heat without the lid
- Add the olive oil, the prepared onion, and the rice
- Season with salt
- Sauté the grains for 1 minute to coat them in the fat
- Pour in the boiling water and mix well
- Close the lid and increase the stove heat
- As soon as the cooker reaches pressure and starts to whistle, lower the heat
- Cook for 15 minutes
- Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally before opening the lid
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve immediately
