Where to find ingredients
You can find fresh produce like cauliflower, radishes, and carrots in the produce section of local supermarkets or greengrocers. Olive oil and spices such as paprika are available in the cooking oil and baking aisles of any standard grocery store.
Preparation method
- Preheat the oven to 220 ºC.
- Wash the cauliflower florets in a bowl filled with water.
- Remove the florets from the water with your hands, leaving any sediment at the bottom of the bowl.
- Drain the florets thoroughly using a colander.
- Scrub the radishes well under cold running water to ensure they are clean.
- Dry the radishes and cut them into halves, or quarters if they are large.
- Peel the carrots and cut them in half crosswise.
- Slice the thinner end of the carrots into four lengthwise sticks.
- Slice the thicker end of the carrots into six lengthwise sticks.
- Arrange all the prepared vegetables in a large roasting tray.
- Drizzle the vegetables with the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the paprika, salt, and black pepper over the top.
- Toss everything thoroughly to ensure every piece is evenly coated with the oil and spices.
- Spread the vegetables out in the tray, leaving enough space between them so they roast properly and turn golden.
