Ingredients
1 liter water
2 tbsp powdered milk
2 kg premium pizza wheat flour
20 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
15 g dry active yeast
2 tbsp powdered milk
2 kg premium pizza wheat flour
20 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
15 g dry active yeast
Where to find ingredients
Find premium wheat flour and powdered milk at local supermarkets. Olive oil, salt, sugar, and yeast are readily available in any grocery shop. For best results, use high-protein wheat flour.
Preparation method
- In a large bowl, combine the water, sugar, salt, olive oil, and powdered milk.
- In a separate small container, dissolve the dry yeast in a little warm water (ensure it is not hot to avoid killing the yeast).
- Let it rest for a few minutes.
- Add the yeast mixture to the bowl with the other ingredients.
- Gradually add the wheat flour to the bowl, mixing well with your hands or a spoon.
- Continue adding flour until the dough pulls away completely from your hands and becomes homogeneous.
- Knead the dough in the bowl or on a lightly floured surface for about 5 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a plastic bag, seal it well, and let it rest in a warm spot for approximately 1 hour, or until it doubles in volume.
- After resting, remove the dough from the bag and divide it into portions for the desired pizzas (enough for 7 pizzas).
- Shape each portion into balls and let them rest for another 20 minutes, covered with a cloth.
- Roll out each ball of dough into a disk and add toppings as desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at your preferred temperature until golden.
