Where to find ingredients
You can find all these staples at any major Australian supermarket. For fresh yeast, look in the refrigerated section near the dairy; as a substitute, you may use active dry yeast (adjusting quantity according to package instructions).
Preparation method
- Place the lukewarm milk, yeast, oil, sugar, salt, and eggs in a blender and blend well until the mixture is homogeneous
- Pour the blender contents into a large bowl and add the flour gradually, kneading the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic
- Divide the dough into two equal parts
- Grease the moulds with oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, placing each part of the dough into them
- Let the dough rest in a warm, draft-free place until it has doubled in size
- Place one mould at a time in the microwave for a period between 7 to 9 minutes, adjusting according to your appliance's power
- Unmould the bread while still warm onto a plate
