Where to find ingredients
Look for the ingredients in the supermarket bakery aisle, dairy section, canned goods shelf, and fresh produce area; if needed, a butcher or chicken counter can help with cooked chicken, and a spice aisle or stock section may offer a substitute for the beef stock cubes.
Preparation method
- In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté the onion until translucent
- Add the shredded chicken, corn, and peas, then season with salt to taste. Mix the filling well and set aside
- In the blender, add the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, wheat flour, grated Parmesan cheese, and beef stock cubes
- Blend all the batter ingredients until smooth
- Add the baking powder and gently mix with a spoon or spatula
- Grease a medium baking dish or ovenproof dish with oil and dust with wheat flour
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish
- Spread the chicken filling over the batter
- Cover the filling with the remaining batter
- Sprinkle the grated mozzarella over the top of the pie
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes, or until the pie is golden and firm
