Preparation method
- Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites
- In a saucepan while cold, add the milk and the sieved egg yolks
- Add the chocolate powder and condensed milk
- Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring continuously until a thick cream forms
- Remove the saucepan from the heat
- Fold in the ground walnuts and the thickened cream
- Add the dissolved unflavoured gelatine
- Gently fold in the whipped egg whites until a homogenous mixture is achieved
- Pour the mixture into a serving dish
- Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours until it reaches a mousse consistency
- Monitor to prevent the mixture from freezing solid
- Decorate the top with whole walnuts before serving
- Keep the dessert refrigerated after the first serving
