Ingredients
1 packet pineapple-flavoured gelatin
2 packets strawberry-flavoured gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 can light cream, drained
2 packets strawberry-flavoured gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 can light cream, drained
Where to find ingredients
Look for the gelatine and soda in the baking aisle or soft drinks section, and the cream in the dairy section at any supermarket or grocery store. If needed, light cream can be substituted with regular cream, but the texture may be richer.
Preparation method
- Prepare the pineapple gelatin by dissolving it in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
- Prepare both packets of strawberry gelatin together by dissolving them in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
- Place the light cream, the already dissolved pineapple gelatin and the chilled Coca-Cola in a blender
- Blend all the ingredients well until smooth
- Pour the mixture into a mould, previously rinsed with cold water to make unmoulding easier, or into individual glasses
- Refrigerate for about 3 hours, or until firmly set
- Unmould carefully, if needed, and decorate to taste before serving
Observations
This Coca-Cola mousse is an incredibly easy dessert with a surprisingly good flavour, perfect for anyone who wants convenience without giving up taste. It combines the fizz of Coca-Cola with the sweetness of gelatin, creating a light, airy texture that appeals to everyone. It is a popular choice for finishing a meal or serving at parties and casual get-togethers, since it can be made ahead of time and served in individual portions or in a large serving dish to share.
