Simple and Delicious Coca-Cola Mousse

Ingredients

1 packet pineapple jelly
2 packets strawberry jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 can light table cream (drained of excess liquid)

Where to find ingredients

For the jelly, any standard packet jelly from the baking aisle of your local supermarket works perfectly. For the table cream (creme de leite), look in the 'International' or 'Latin' section of large grocery stores, as it is thicker than standard heavy cream. If you cannot find table cream, you may use a chilled shelf-stable heavy cream, though the texture may vary slightly.

Preparation method

  1. Dissolve the pineapple jelly in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
  2. Dissolve the two packets of strawberry jelly together in 1 cup of boiling water and set aside
  3. In a blender, combine the light table cream, the dissolved pineapple jelly, and the chilled Coca-Cola
  4. Blend all the ingredients thoroughly until you have a smooth, well-combined mixture
  5. Pour the mixture into a mold (lightly rinsed with cold water to make unmolding easier) or into individual serving glasses
  6. Place in the fridge for approximately 3 hours, or until the mousse is well-set
  7. Unmold carefully if needed, decorate as you like, and serve chilled

Observations

This Coca-Cola mousse is an incredibly easy and surprisingly tasty dessert, perfect for anyone looking for something quick without sacrificing flavor. It combines the bubbly kick of Coca-Cola with the sweetness of fruit jelly, creating a light, airy texture that’s a real crowd-pleaser. It’s a popular option to finish off a meal or to serve at parties and casual get-togethers, as it can be whipped up in advance and portioned into individual glasses or a single serving dish.
