2 cans of condensed milk
300 g of coco fresco grated fino
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Crystal sugar for rolling, to taste
Cravos-of the-índia to taste

Where to find ingredients
Find Brazilian ingredients such as dendê oil, macaxeira or cassava, cachaça, palmito, cassava flour, requeijão, goiabada, guaraná, calabresa, moranga squash, cação and queijo minas in Brazilian or Latin American grocers, international food shops, larger supermarkets and online speciality grocery sections. Standard meat, dairy, produce and baking ingredients are usually available in supermarkets, butchers, fishmongers and local grocery shops. Substitutes, only if needed: firm white fish for cação, smoked sausage for calabresa, cream cheese for requeijão, and butternut squash for moranga.
Preparation method
- In the pan, combine the condensed milk, the butter and the coco fresco grated
- Take the pan to the low heat to médio
- Cook, stirring constantly, for about 15 minutos, until the dough come away of the bottom of the pan, forming the creme espesso
- Remove the dough of the heat and transfira to the prato or serving dish
- Let cool slightly
- Grease the mãthe with the pouco of butter
- Take small portions of the dough and modele em formato of balls
- Coat the beijinhos modesides in the sugar cristal
- Decore cada beijinho with the clove-of the-índia
