Where to find ingredients
You can source flour, sugar, eggs, and milk from any local market stall or shop in your neighbourhood. Margarine is readily available at any provision store. For the cornmeal, look for fine-grade yellow maize flour, often found in the flour or cereal section of larger supermarkets in Accra or specialty grain markets.
Preparation method
- Whisk the egg whites in your mixing bowl until they reach stiff peaks
- Gradually pour in the sugar while keeping the mixer running
- Add the egg yolks to the mixture
