Preparation method
- Start by preheating your oven to 180°C
- Add the eggs, milk, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, margarine, flour, cornstarch, and baking powder into your blender and blitz until the mixture is smooth and combined
- Get a 22cm round cake tin ready by lightly greasing it with some margarine
- Pour only half of the batter into the tin and scatter the chopped chocolate evenly over the top
- Finish it off by pouring the rest of the batter over the chocolate layer
- Pop it in the oven for about 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden and baked through
- Take it out of the oven, let it cool down a bit, and carefully turn it out to serve
Observations
This is a super practical recipe, perfect for when you're craving a delicious treat made in a flash using just your blender. The addition of sweetened condensed milk to the batter creates a wonderfully dense, moist texture and a little extra hit of sweetness.
