Ingredients
1 box pineapple jelly
2 boxes strawberry jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 tin light cream (drained of whey)
2 boxes strawberry jelly
2 cups boiling water
2 cups chilled Coca-Cola
1 tin light cream (drained of whey)
Where to find ingredients
Pineapple and strawberry jelly can be found in the dessert or baking aisles of any major supermarket. For the light cream (creme de leite), look in the tinned milk section; if you cannot find 'light' versions, standard table cream or heavy cream will work, though the texture will be richer. Chilled Coca-Cola is available at any local shop, gas station, or grocery store.
Preparation method
- Dissolve the pineapple jelly in 1 cup of boiling water and set it aside
- Dissolve both boxes of strawberry jelly together in 1 cup of boiling water and set them aside
- Add the light cream, the dissolved pineapple jelly, and the chilled Coca-Cola to a blender
- Blitz everything well until you have a smooth, well-combined mixture
- Pour the mixture into a mould (rinse it with cold water first to make unmoulding easier) or into individual serving glasses
- Place in the fridge for about 3 hours, or until it has set firmly
- Unmould carefully if needed, garnish to your liking, and serve chilled
