Preparation
- Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form in an electric mixer
- Add the sugar while continuing to beat
- Mix in the egg yolks
- Add the margarine
- Pour in the milk

- Continue beating until the batter is smooth
- Gently fold in the baking powder using a spoon or spatula
- Transfer the mixture to a pre-greased cake pan
