Ingredients

1 liter of milk
1 small glass (200ml) of coconut milk
100 g of unsweetened dry shredded coconut
6 tablespoons cornstarch
8 tablespoons sugar

Preparation method

  1. In a saucepan, mix the milk, sugar, coconut milk, and shredded coconut
  2. Dissolve the cornstarch in a small amount of reserved milk
  3. Add the dissolved cornstarch to the mixture in the saucepan
  4. Bring to medium heat
  5. Stir constantly until the cream thickens
  6. Cook for one more minute after it starts boiling
  7. Transfer the mixture to a decorative mold, previously greased with oil or just moistened with water
  8. Let the dessert cool
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set
  10. Unmold and serve with plum or strawberry syrup
