Preparation
- Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form in an electric mixer
- Add the sugar while continuing to beat
- Add the egg yolks
- Add the margarine
- Pour in the milk
- Add the wheat flour and the cornmeal
- Continue beating until you obtain a homogeneous batter
- Gently fold in the baking powder using a spoon or spatula
- Transfer the mixture to a previously greased cake pan
- Place in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F)
