Preparation
- Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form
- Add the sugar while continuing to beat
- Mix in the egg yolks
- Add the margarine
- Pour in the milk
- Add the all-purpose flour and the cornmeal
- Continue beating until you obtain a smooth batter
- Gently fold in the baking powder using a spoon or spatula
- Transfer the mixture to a previously greased baking pan
- Place in a preheated oven at 180°C
- Bake for about 30 minutes
