Preparation
- Keep the onion half whole
- Secure the bay leaf to the onion using the clove as a support
- Heat the pressure cooker over medium heat without the lid
- Add the olive oil
- Add the prepared onion
- Add the rice
- Season with the salt
- Sauté the grains for 1 minute so they are coated in the oil
- Pour in the boiling water
- Mix well
- Close the cooker and increase the burner heat
- Once the cooker reaches pressure and starts to whistle
- Lower the heat
