Preparation
- Combine the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl
- Create a well in the center of the flour
- Add the oil or lard along with the vinegar
- Gradually pour in the warm water
- Incorporate the ingredients with your hands until the dough pulls away from your fingers
- Transfer the dough to a smooth surface
- Knead vigorously until the texture is smooth and homogeneous
- If the dough feels too stiff add just a few drops of water
- If it feels sticky sprinkle in a little extra flour
- Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel
- Let it rest for 20 minutes
- Roll out the dough using a rolling pin until it is very thin

- Press the edges firmly to seal the dough and prevent them from opening during frying
- Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown
- Drain the excess oil and serve immediately
