Preparation
- Separate the egg yolks from the whites
- Place the milk and the yolks (passed through a fine-mesh sieve) into a saucepan while it is still cold
- Add the chocolate powder and the condensed milk
- Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes
- Stir continuously until you obtain a thick cream
- Remove the pan from the heat
- Incorporate the ground walnuts and the table cream
- Add the dissolved unflavored gelatin
- Gently fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites until the mixture is homogeneous
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish
- Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours until it reaches a mousse-like consistency
- Monitor carefully to prevent it from freezing completely
- Decorate the surface with whole walnuts before serving
- Keep the dessert in the refrigerator after it has been served for the first time
