200ml lukewarm water

Preparation method

  1. Mix the all-purpose flour and salt in a large bowl
  2. Make a well in the center of the flour
  3. Add the oil or lard along with the vinegar
  4. Gradually pour in the lukewarm water
  5. Incorporate the ingredients with your hands until the dough pulls away from your fingers
  6. Transfer the dough to a clean, flat surface
  7. Knead vigorously until the dough is smooth and homogeneous
  8. If the dough seems too stiff, add just a few drops of water
  9. If it feels sticky, sprinkle with a little more flour
  10. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel
  11. Let it rest for 20 minutes
  12. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it is very thin
  13. Cut into desired sizes and shapes
  14. Distribute your preferred filling over the pieces
  15. Press the edges firmly to seal and prevent them from opening during frying
  16. Deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown
  17. Drain excess oil and serve immediately
