Preparation method
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form in a mixer
- Add sugar while continuing to beat
- Add the egg yolks
- Add the softened butter
- Add the milk
- Add the all-purpose flour and fine cornmeal
- Continue beating until a homogeneous batter is obtained
- Gently fold in the baking powder using a spoon or spatula
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking pan
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F)
