Potato dumpling
The potato cake is a Brazilian classic, prepared with boiled and squeezed potatoes, resulting in a tasty and very practical accompaniment for various occasions.

450g peeled and cooked potatoes
50 g butter

Modo de preparo
- Peel the potatoes and place them in a saucepan with water
- Bring to high heat until it starts to boil
- Add salt and cook for approximately 20 minutes or until tender
- Drain all the water and pass the potatoes through the juicer
- Mix butter and yolks well with mashed potatoes
- Season with salt, black pepper and nutmeg, stirring to incorporate the flavors
- Transfer the dough to a pastry bag equipped with a wide nozzle
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Grease a baking sheet with butter and sprinkle wheat flour
- Mold potato roses on the baking tray by pressing the pastry bag
- Start the movement in the center and make a spiral circle to form the rose
- Keep a space between each portion on the baking sheet
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the surface is slightly browned
- Remove from oven and serve immediately
