Where to find ingredients
Eggs, sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder, butter, and powdered sugar are standard pantry staples available in any supermarket. Fresh oranges can be found in the produce section of most grocery stores. Orange zest can be made by finely grating the peel of fresh oranges. Breadcrumbs are usually found in the baking aisle or the international foods section of supermarkets. If you can't find specific zest strips for decoration, you can make your own by carefully peeling strips of orange zest with a vegetable peeler and removing any white pith.
Preparation method
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until a smooth and homogeneous batter is obtained
- Grease a 36 x 24 cm baking pan with butter
- Line the bottom and sides of the pan with parchment paper
