Where to find ingredients

Preparation
- Preparing the Apples:
- Wash and dry the apples
- Insert 1 or 2 sticks into each apple to ensure they are stable while dipping
- Lightly grease aluminum pans or trays with oil
- Making the Syrup:
- Combine all ingredients in a pot
- Do not use a spoon or utensil as it may cause the sugar to crystallize
- Mix only by gently shaking or swirling the pot
- Use high heat until it begins to boil
- Lower the heat to medium once boiling and cook for approximately 25 minutes
- Dip the tip of a popsicle stick into the syrup and drop it onto the greased tray to test
- Press with your finger once it cools for a few seconds
- If the drop makes a solid sound when tapped against the tray, turn off the heat immediately
- Begin dipping the apples and place them onto the prepared tray to set
Notes
It is important to work quickly as the sugar syrup will naturally harden as it cools.
