Preparation method
- Grate the corn kernels or cut them close to the cob
- Blend the kernels with the water
- Add the coconut and sugar to the mixture and stir well
- Place a portion of the mixture into a corn husk
- Tie the husk securely to seal the contents
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil
- Carefully add the wrapped corn mixture one by one
- Ensure the water is boiling before adding the pamonhas to prevent them from falling apart
- Cook for about 40 minutes
- Remove the pamonhas carefully using a slotted spoon
- Allow them to cool in a cool, ventilated area
Observations
