2 large onions
1/3 cup (tea) bottled butter

Preparation method

  5. After desalting, drain the meat and wash it again under running water
  6. Transfer the meat to a pressure cooker and cover with water, ensuring not to exceed the 2/3 volume limit of the pot
  7. Close the lid and place over high heat
  8. As soon as the pot reaches pressure and starts to whistle, lower the heat and cook for 30 minutes
  9. Turn off the heat and wait for all the pressure to release naturally before opening the lid
  10. Using a slotted spoon, remove the cooked meat from the pot and place it in a serving dish
  11. While the meat is still hot, shred it using two forks
  12. Discard any small pieces of fat or cartilage
  13. If you prefer, shred the meat in a mixer on low speed until it reaches the desired texture
  14. Peel the onions and cut them into half-moons about 1 cm thick
  15. Heat a large skillet over medium heat
  16. Add the bottled butter to the heated skillet
  17. Add the sliced onions and season with a pinch of salt
  18. Sauté the onions for about 5 minutes, until they wilt
  19. Add the shredded salted beef to the skillet with the onions
  20. Stir and sauté for another 5 minutes
  21. Taste and adjust salt if necessary
  22. Serve immediately
