You can find Minas cheese, cream cheese, and guava paste at most supermarkets. All-purpose flour, sugar, eggs, and butter are staple ingredients available in any grocery store. Look for fresh fruit for purees in the produce section of your local market.
Method
- Mix eggs and sugar well in a bowl
- Add grated Minas cheese to the mixture
- Incorporate cream cheese and melted butter
- Gradually add all-purpose flour, mixing gently until a uniform batter is obtained
- Butter and dust individual petit gâteau molds with all-purpose flour
- Place the prepared molds on a baking sheet
- Fill the molds with batter, up to a little more than half their capacity
- Place a cube of guava paste in the center of each mold
- Cover with the remaining batter, without reaching the top edge
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes
- Carefully remove from the oven
- Unmold immediately and serve with guava and passion fruit puree, if desired

Serve this dessert very warm to ensure the center remains creamy. The balance between the savory cheese and sweet guava paste creates a velvety and refined texture.
