250 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
80 g condensed milk
10 g butter
100 g ladyfinger or shortbread biscuits
200 g granulated sugar

10 drops vanilla extract
200 g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
250 g unsalted butter, at room temperature
80 g condensed milk

200 g granulated sugar
Where to find ingredients
Plain biscuits and ladyfinger or shortbread biscuits: Found in the biscuit aisle of any supermarket.
Fresh cream: Available in the dairy section of supermarkets, usually near butter and UHT cream. If fresh cream is not available, you can use UHT cream with high fat content (above 35%), by removing the whey. To do this, refrigerate the UHT cream for a few hours, carefully open the carton, and remove the liquid (whey).
Condensed milk, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract: Basic items found in any grocery section of supermarkets.
Semi-sweet chocolate, chopped: Can be bought in bars from the baking or chocolate section of supermarkets. Opt for chocolate with at least 50% cocoa for good flavor.
Cassis liqueur: Found in liquor stores, larger supermarkets in the spirits or imported goods section. If you don't want to use it, you can omit it or substitute with a little more vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.

Preparation method
- In a bowl, beat the butter with the granulated sugar until you get a light and fluffy cream
- Add the condensed milk and continue beating until well incorporated
- Incorporate the fresh cream, vanilla extract, and cassis liqueur (if using), mixing gently with a whisk or spatula until a homogeneous cream is obtained
- Prepare a removable-edge pan (approximately 18 cm in diameter and 4 cm high), lining the sides with acetate ribbon or greasing with a little butter
- Line the bottom of the pan with a layer of plain biscuits, breaking them if necessary to fill the spaces
- Pour half of the prepared cream over the biscuit layer
- Make another layer with the remaining plain biscuits
- Cover with the remaining cream
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until firm
- Carefully unmold the pie
- In a small saucepan, heat the 600 ml of cream without whey over low heat, without letting it boil
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped semi-sweet chocolate and 10 g of butter
- Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter melt completely, forming a smooth ganache
- Spread the reserved chocolate ganache over the top of the pie, letting it drip down the sides
- Decorate the sides of the pie with the ladyfinger or shortbread biscuits, pressing lightly so they stick to the ganache
