1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
500g ground beef
1 tomato, seeded and chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Chopped fresh herbs (parsley and scallions)

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic until they begin to lightly brown
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet
  4. Stir continuously to break up any clumps and allow the meat to brown evenly
  5. Add the chopped tomato to the mixture
  6. Cook, stirring occasionally, until all the moisture from the preparation has completely evaporated
