Ingredients

6 ears of corn
3 cups of milk
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg yolk (membrane removed)
Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation method

  1. Wash the corn ears thoroughly and remove all silks

  3. Place the corn kernels and milk in a blender
  4. Blend the mixture well
  5. Add the flour to the blender
  6. Blend again to incorporate
  7. Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the pulp

  9. Stir constantly until thickened to prevent lumps

  14. Cut the cylinders into small pieces, the traditional gnocchi size
  15. Cook the pieces in boiling water until they float to the surface
  16. Remove the gnocchi from the water and place in a serving dish
  17. Cover with your preferred sauce
  18. Finish by sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese on top
  19. Bake just long enough to melt and brown the cheese
