Ingredients

1 liter of milk
1 small can (approximately 200ml) of coconut milk
100 g of unsweetened shredded dried coconut
6 tablespoons cornstarch
8 tablespoons sugar

Preparation method

  1. Mix the milk, sugar, coconut milk, and shredded coconut in a saucepan
  2. Dissolve the cornstarch in a small amount of reserved milk
  3. Add the dissolved cornstarch to the mixture in the saucepan
  4. Bring to medium heat
  5. Stir constantly until the cream thickens
  6. Cook for one more minute after it starts to boil
  7. Transfer the mixture to a decorated mold, previously greased with oil or just moistened with water
  8. Let the dessert cool
  9. Refrigerate for 2 hours to set
  10. Unmold and serve with plum sauce or strawberry sauce
